Big News for Canada’s Future in Space

Françoise Gagnon, CEO, ADGA joins the Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, Minister of Transport, Minister of Science and Sport and President, Canadian Space Agency for today’s “Canada’s Future in Space” announcement at the Canadian Space Agency

Canadian Space Agency’s unprecedented investment announcement marks an exciting time in space exploration as Canada continues to push boundaries and inspire us all to dream bigger. It is with great pride that ADGA Group Consultants Inc.’s Space Solutions team continues to provide expertise to support the CSA’s advancements in space.

In attendance at the event were the Prime Minister; The Hon. Navdeep Singh Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development; The Hon. Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport; The Hon. Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport; Sylvain Laporte, President, Canadian Space Agency and astronaut David Saint-Jacques (live from space!), joined by Françoise Gagnon, CEO, ADGA and other industry leaders under the banner “Canada’s Future in Space”.

The Government of Canada announced today that it is investing more than $2B over 24 years in Canada’s space program and the Lunar Gateway, an international collaboration in human space exploration. The Gateway is expected to be fully functioning in the moon’s orbit around 2026.
