ADGA CEO To Join The Defence Industry Advisory Group

OTTAWA – The ADGA Group is pleased to announce that Françoise Gagnon, Chief Executive Officer, will be a member of the Government of Canada’s Defence Industry Advisory Group (DIAG). Mrs. Gagnon will serve for a three-year term beginning September 29, 2017.

Established in 2015, the DIAG enables increased transparency and communication between the federal government and the defence industry in order to identify common objectives and streamline procurement processes and policies. The DIAG’s mandate is a key pillar of Canada’s defence policy Strong, Secure, Engaged, released by the federal government in June 2017. Mrs. Gagnon joins an esteemed group comprised of senior government officials from various departments and leaders representing a cross-section of Canadian industry.
“I am looking forward to working closely with government and industry colleagues to execute our vision for a strong and safe Canada,” said Mrs. Gagnon. “It is an honour to represent ADGA and bring our voice to the table.”

Since her appointment as CEO in 2014, Mrs. Gagnon has led ADGA through a key period of transition and growth. She has more than 15 years of management experience, directing national multi-stakeholder organizations in the private and not-for-profit sectors. Founded in 1967, ADGA is celebrating 50 years as one of Canada’s most trusted engineering and consultancy firms.
