ADGA Group Consultants Inc. looking for Senior Programmers/Software Developer to develop new service offerings and processes on the Axios Assyst platform, as well as redesign existing ones, to simplify, centralize, coordinate and manage the delivery of services to clients.

Our client, is currently undertaking a number of service improvement initiatives aimed at ensuring a client-centric approach to service design and delivery and diversifying its service offerings. Many of these services are managed using the Axios Assyst IT service management (ITSM) software. Over the next few years, they will expand the use of Axios assyst's suite of products in support of various initiatives aimed at improving service management practice. It will continue to develop its service catalogue in assystNet, will onboard new services onto assyst and will streamline existing services through implementation of lean practices.

JOB TASKS:

• Designing, developing and delivering intake forms to capture data as per business requirements. This task may require writing HTML and CSS code for styling/behavior.
• Designing, developing and delivering service offerings.
• Creating and updating workflows to align with business processes.
• Configuring user interface elements for daily tasks, management and reporting as per user requirements (search queries, column profiles).
• Creating data elements for supporting business processes and reporting needs, including event categories, action types and template messages, service departments and associated user accounts, as well as product structure elements (items, products and related configuration).
• General configuration of the tool, including setting up user defaults (homepage, menus, standardized search queries).
• Performing unit and system testing to ensure the new components integrate properly within the ecosystem.
• Developing user documentation, training and knowledge transfer material.
• Developing build documentation for deployment and release from development to production environment.
• Configuring assyst SmartMail (Lua scripts) for email notifications and automation requirements using assystREST API.
• Configuring assyst Mailbox Reader (Lua scripts) for processing emails for new requests and updates.
• Configuring assyst IPaaS (Javascript) for enabling bulk data entry.
• Configuring Microsoft Exchange server rules for routing emails.
• Configuring Microsoft ActiveDirectory distribution lists for notifying service department users.
• Training end users and/or support staff.

DELIVERABLES: 

The Programmer/Software Developer is required to deliver the following:

• assystNet:
  • Request intake forms.
  • Services and service offerings in the service catalogue, including the service description and details.
• assystWeb:
  • Workflow process (design in Microsoft Visio or similar tool, implementation in assyst)
  • General configuration of the tools. This includes creating the necessary data elements to support business processes and reporting needs, as well as defaults configuration for support users.
• Configuration and requirement documentation.

• Minimum of ten (10) years' of experience within the last fifteen (15) years working as a Programmer/Software Developer.
• Minimum of seven (7) years' of experience within the last fifteen (15) years in the architecture and design of IT service management (ITSM) software tools.
• Possess a valid ITIL V3 or newer certification.
• Over ten (10) years' of experience implementing Axios assyst. 
• Over two (2) years' experience in delivering software training to end users and/or support staff. 
• Experience in Axios assyst implementation experience within the Government of Canada (departments, agencies, or crown corporations).
• Posses a valid Axios Assyst certification.
• Over two (2) years' experience writing scripts with the Lua programming language.

• Must currently hold Federal Government Enhanced Relability Clearance 
• Copies of Degree/Diploma/Certifications will be required
