Job Description

ADGA is hiring a full-time Maximo Developer to support migrating from a custom-built legacy Enterprise Asset Management system to IBM Maximo. The Maximo developer will interface with key stakeholders across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The Maximo developer will also play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, and leading validation for all testing and support activities related to implementation/migration to IBM Maximo EAM.

The responsibilities of the Maximo developer will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maximo development to design, configure, and customize the Maximo platform according to business requirements. This includes creating and modifying screens, workflows, data push, application design, and automation scripts using the front-end configuration tool in Maximo.
  • Application Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate other applications with Maximo, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability. Develop integration strategies, design integration points, and implement data mapping and transformation processes to enable efficient data flow between Maximo and other systems.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain and enhance existing Maximo configurations, continuously improving system performance, reliability, and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues, conduct system testing, and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Solution Development: Strong configuration experience to analyze business requirements and design practical solutions using Maximo configurations. Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to understand their needs, translate requirements into system configurations, and deliver effective solutions that align with Client objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or 2-year College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Maximo Certifications will be an added advantage.
  • 5+ years within the last 10 years performing tasks the same or similar to the following:
    • Configurations of Maximo EAM from Application, Integrations, Workflow, Security & Reporting
    • Troubleshooting processes / functionality / system issues to resolution
    • Configuring, testing and deploying IBM Maximo through all phases of the implementation life cycle
    • Must have knowledge and experience in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
    • Must have experience using programming languages such as Java, Jython, Python, and/or Javascript to tailor / configure Maximo
    • Analyzing Incidents, Problems and Catalog (Service) requests on Maximo applications and implementing components and providing solutions
    • Working with Product Owners & Business Analysts to understand the functional requirements and provide optimal technical solutions
    • Experience with Data Migration / ETL
