ADGA is currently looking for an "Information Management Architect" to join our team that provides Tactical Communications support to a well established Defence program that we have been involved with for many years!

Tasks will include:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Tactical Communications team as it relates to information management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Capture, evaluate and synthesize the information exchange requirements of the Canada Army elements on various types of operations.
  • Draft, maintain and review the Tactical Communications project information management plan and processes.
  • Draft, maintain and review the Tactical Communications project change management plan and processes.
  • Implement the information and change management plan.
  • Train staff on information management and change management processes and tools.
  • Responsible for the version control, and review schedule for all the project documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Program Control Office for information management matters.
  • Contribute to the creation of a stakeholder register.
  • Manage and review the stakeholder management plan with the project staff.
  • Generate and lead a stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Craft key messages for the key stakeholders as part of the stake holder engagement plan.
  • Plan engagement with key project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proof of Degree from a recognized university, or Diploma from a recognized college in the sciences or a suitable engineering or technical field. 
  • Ability to demonstrate at least 4 years in the last 6 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of IT/IM or Engineering.
  • Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 10 years (120 months) experience in at least 3 of the following assessment areas:
    • Client/Server architecture and related technologies.
    • Data architecture definition, framework and implementation for military systems.
    • System Integration, hardware and software (COTS and/or custom developed) components into new or existing systems.
    • Database modelling.
    • Aware of current trends and new technologies in information architecture and design.
    • System life-cycle management.
    • Experience in business process improvement and knowledge of business intelligence tool-sets.
    • Experience developing or working with architecture concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architecture, architecture patterns, frameworks and principles.
    • Information management strategies and processes in support of change management activities.
    • Database architecture and design.
  • Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience in at least 4 of the following tasks:
    • Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
    • Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems with strong visualization skills with the ability to clearly communicate, in writing and orally.
    • Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision making of senior management.
    • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies.
    • Performing strategic, operational or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.

  • Hybrid role (must be available to go on-site as required)
  • Will require a valid Secret level 2 security clearance with PSPC.
  • Must have a Controlled Goods Certificate.
