Technical Architect

ADGA has a current opportunity for a Technical Architect in support of Monitor MASS, REO and Recruiting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain the data integrity and security of the Oracle Database associated with Monitor MASS and Recruiting;
• Provide software solutions to address deficiencies by studying information needs, conferring with CAF stakeholders, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes;
• Analyze, design and maintain C++ client-server application REO, Monitor MASS, and MCS Recruiting;
• Collaborate with Application/SW Architect, Programmer/Software Developers, and Testers on the development of the Recruiting Application;
• Interface with external data sources associated with REO;
• Interface with external data sources associated with Recruiting;
• Load and export application data in a secure manner;
• Support the application help desk staff in resolving issues;
• Manage workflow of the REO Monitor/MASS application;
• Provide application guidance to the MCSC team;
• Provide guidance to all members of the MCSC on impact of potential changes to the application objects and classes of Monitor MASS and Recruiting, in an agile programming environment;

• 10 + years of experience as a Technical Architect;
• Graduated from College or University with a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant technical field;
• 5+ years of experience developing HRMS software applications;
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data integration using SQL Navigator for Oracle or Toad for Oracle;
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing multi-user (10,000 users with 1000+ concurrent users) HRMS software applications using C++ in an object oriented environment;
• 3+ years of experience automating HRMS related workflow processes;
• 4+ years of experience analyzing and maintaining the data integrity and security of an Oracle Database;
• Previous experience automating MCSC HRMS related workflows will be considered a strong asset.

• Requires Secret level Government of Canada clearance
