ADGA is currently looking for a full time Intermediate Engineering Graduate to join our team and provide support to a large, multi-year Defence program.

• Bachelor’s Degree (B. Eng) from an accredited university in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with flight simulators, computer systems, aircraft avionics, and/or aircraft equipment and weapon systems within the last 10 years;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical oversight of a design change and technical management of engineering support contracts or maintenance contract within the last 10 years;
  • This experience must include at least one example of a design change which the candidate considers “major”, with justification.
• Must have knowledge of avionics systems design and functioning applicable to mission avionics systems.  As a minimum in 4 of the following 8 fields: military communication systems, mission data management system, tactical data link system, acoustics system, electronic defence suite, radar system, electro-optics and infrared systems or store management system;
• Experience working within the Canadian Government, military, major aircraft manufacturer, maritime surveillance aircraft or any maritime anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare aircraft;
• Demonstrated knowledge of option analysis concepts and practices associated with the resolution of obsolescence issues and technology insertion to training devices;
• Demonstrated experience with the acceptance of a training device in accordance approved acceptance plan and test procedures;
• Demonstrated experience writing technical requirement specifications and briefing notes;
• Demonstrated experience in efficiently and effectively working with technicians/Life Cycle Material Management (LCMMs) during the conception, acquisition, in-service and/or disposal activities;
• demonstrated knowledge of avionics upgrades and the integration of avionics systems in military and/or civilian type aircraft into a training devices; and
• Demonstrated knowledge of software version control and design change management, as applicable to the design, development, integration, and qualification of software onto a training device or aircraft system.

• Requires Secret level Government of Canada clearance.
