Job Description

  • Developing and maintaining an electronic folder system and checklist to ensure each project is compliant with departmental guidance.
  • Providing assistance in coordinating and managing technical logistic activities, such as preparing schedules, contemplated change notices and change orders, communications products, and organizing meetings with project teams and/or stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Participating in the development of project reports, presentations and other related products to provide stakeholders with an accurate status update on the various segments of a project (e.g. financial status; project progression; milestones schedule, contracting information, etc.).
  • Developing and maintaining effective and efficient project administration procedures, records management system and control processes to be used by the project management team

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a project manager working in a converged network environment
  • Risk Management Certification
  • PRINCE 2 and/or TOGAF Certifications
  • Experience with the management of converged network project
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and processes
  • Experience with Converged Network risk mitigations strategies including technologies, building design, and the Internet of Things (IoT) including smart buildings and power-over-ethernet (PoE)
  • Experience working with other consultants who specialize in communications distribution infrastructure

Additional Information

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance
