ADGA Group Consultants Inc is currently recruiting for a full time Technical Writer. In this role, you will provide technical writing support to one of our large Defence programs! The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with technical writing on Military Command and Control Systems. Within this role the successful candidare will be responsible for the following tasks: 

• Independently evaluate, develop, and integrate proposed system management or information technology infrastructure library tools within the accepted system management concept while developing the associated procedures, workflows, CONEMP, guides, and training material.
• Research and gather information from several sources such as specifications, notes, drawings, writing manuals, user guides, change requests, etc., in order to create new or update existing procedures, workflows, CONEMP, guides, and training material; and
• Review the above associated documents as created or updated by others, and provide recommendation.

• 10 years+ of technical writing experience
• A University Degree in any field, or a College Diploma in Engineering, Computer Technology or Business Administration. (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience within technical writing on Military Command and Control systems.
• 4+ years of recent experience preparting technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
• Demonstrated experience performing the following tasks:
  • Planning, researching, gathering information, and authoring technical documentation such as Statement of Requirements, System Specifications, and user manuals and guides.
  • Proof-reading technical documents.
  • Analyzing material, such as specifications (technical Statement of Work/Requirement), notes, drawings, writing manuals, user guides, and other documents to explain the requirement clearly and concisely.
  • Providing advice and/or guidance on technical writing issues.

• This role does require someone to work on-site on a full time basis.
• Must be eligible to apply and obtain the NATO Secret level security clearance with PSPC, and the Controlled Goods Certificate.
