We are currently looking for an "Assistant/Deputy Project Leader" to join our existing Testing team who work at a Software Engineering Facility within the federal government.

This is a well established client that we have been working with for many years! 

Tasks will include but won't be limited to: (as designated by the Project Lead)

• Prepare tasks estimates in response to client provided SOWs (estimated time and cost, as well as recommend resource assignments)
• Plan, analyze and schedule Test Team tasks.
• Manage, supervisor and monitor all tasks.
• Ensure that the Test Team personnel adhere to all defined Quality Practices and Procedures, as identified in the  Quality System. 
• Provide status reports and briefings when needed.
• Conduct task-related budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, timesheet approvals, invoice reconciliation, and SOW amendments as necessary.
• Interview, hire, provide employee performance feedback and associated managerial and administrative tasks.
• Maintain and manage Test Team risks, action items and request for information.
• Will be required to fill in for the PL (Project Lead) as necessary.

• Must hold a valid "Secret" level clearance with the Federal Government to start.
• A college diploma in Engineering, Computer Technology or a Bachelor of Science, OR a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. (or equivalent as determined by the client.
• Looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following experience:
  • experience in systems or software testing.
  • experience using a recognized process framework.
  • experience with each of the following activities:
    • preparation of software test plans.
    • use of automated testing tools.
    • review of CI, Software Integration, and System of Systems requirements.
    • use of Case Tools (e.g. Requirements Management, CM, Change Management)
    • use of structured testing techniques and requirements traceability and
    • planning, coordinating, and executing multiple levels of testing (Software Integration/System of Systems)
