Community Investment

Giving. Growing. Engaged.

At ADGA we not only believe in giving back, we think it is fundamental to our corporate culture. We engage our team with participatory events throughout the year that benefit the community, and we are proud of our employees’ commitment to giving of their time, and resources. Highlights of ADGA’s leadership in the community include:

This year we will commemorate the centennial of the Battle of Vimy Ridge – the First World War battle that paved the way to an allied victory, and solidified Canada as an independent nation.

Brig General William Richard will lead a delegation to France to participate in commemorative events planned during the week of April 5 - 12, 2017. He will be taking a number of retired soldiers and serving solders to do a battlefield study and to be present during the ceremony.

ADGA is proud to sponsor two soldiers to partake in this commemorative journey in France – need photos and names of these individuals. We will also have the honour of laying an ADGA wreath at the Vimy Ridge memorial during the ceremony on April 9th.

ADGA is proud to support Soldier On through many internal fundraising and team-building activities.  Soldier On is a Canadian Armed Forces program that supports currently serving members and veterans to overcome their physical or mental health illness or injury through physical activity and sport. We are pleased to work alongside many men and women who have worn the uniform, and support an organization that looks after our Canadian Forces.

The Canadian Army Run is an opportunity for Canadians to say thanks to the men and women who serve them in so many ways at home and abroad. As an Ally Sponsor,  ADGA is pleased to support this event. Our very own ADGA team takes part in the annual run; in 2016, ADGA employee Dave McMahon placed first in his category (Men 50-54) in the 5K!
