ADGA CEO Françoise Gagnon Receives The Women’s Executive Network 2018 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award For Corporate Executives

Toronto, November 22, 2018 - Françoise Gagnon, CEO of ADGA Group Consultants Inc, has been named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women. The announcement was highlighted at the Women’s Executive Network Gala in Toronto, Ontario with 1,000 people in attendance.

“It is a tremendous honour to be a recipient of this distinguished award,” said Ms. Gagnon. “I am passionately committed to elevating and empowering women in our industry and beyond. Being recognized as a Top 100 is a powerful endorsement of our mission to be the first company in our industry to have gender equality at all levels of management.”

As CEO of ADGA, Ms. Gagnon leads a national team of 800 employees and consultants who deliver strategic consulting, professional services and world-class technology in Defence, Security and Enterprise Computing. Under her leadership, the company has experienced considerable growth through diversification and strategic acquisitions. “Key to our success is the flawless execution on strategy, coupled with the drive for strong employee engagement,” confirmed Ms. Gagnon.

Recognizing the lack of gender representation in her industry and the importance of a STEM[1] education, Ms. Gagnon has set her sights on changing the status quo. “Throughout my career, I have benefited immensely from the strong guidance of female mentors and champions,” she says. “I am paying this forward by sponsoring academic bursaries for women in STEM, and providing professional development opportunities through a program specifically designed to empower women at ADGA. An inclusive approach and a focus on gender and cultural diversity and equity make for a better ADGA, and a stronger industry.”

"As the only female CEO of a Canadian company active in the Defence, Security and Enterprise Computing sectors, Françoise Gagnon is a role model and trailblazer, and is an inspiration for our industry's next generation of leaders," said General [Ret'd] Raymond R. Henault, CMM, MSc, CD and Chair of ADGA's Strategic Advisory Council.
