Jean-Pierre Lachance

President, ADGA and Extravision Security Technologies

As President of the ADGA Group and Extravision Security Technologies, Jean-Pierre Lachance (J.P.) is ultimately responsible for managing the ADGA Corporation in order to maximize shareholders’ returns and for ensuring the profitability of the Corporation, the proper functioning of its operations and its sustained growth.

J.P. is also responsible for ensuring that service delivery is carried out to the highest standards, and evolving the product and service roadmaps for the defence, security and enterprise computing lines of business.

Jean-Pierre Lachance is a trusted, senior technology business executive with a proven track record in delivering enterprise strategies, leading transformations and continuously improving the quality and quantity of the technology service provision in multiple organizations across both public and private sectors.

J.P. possesses superior operational and program/project management skills, strong interpersonal skills, a strong ability to communicate, and a demonstrated ability to achieve global results while creating and maintaining consensus among both domestic and international partners.

Jean-Pierre (J.P.) Lachance joined the ADGA Group following his retirement from the Government of Canada and Canadian Forces after 36 years of dedicated service in the defence, security and enterprise computing sectors.

Prior to joining the ADGA Group, J.P. Lachance held the position of Director General, Enterprise Computing, managing the day-to-day activities of a team of 400 personnel whose mission was to provide a range of Enterprise Computing services to government personnel located in Canada and abroad.

Mr. Lachance holds a Masters of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. He also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Project Management Professional (PMP) designations. He is a member of the Order of Professional Engineers in the provinces of Ontario and Québec.
