Service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. For many veterans, it evolves.
After leaving the military in 2008, Melony Malo found the structure, purpose, and challenge she was looking for at ADGA.
Today, she leads testing for complex defence systems where reliability, user trust, and mission success depend on getting it right. From automated and cloud-based solutions to hands-on system testing, her work ensures the technology delivered to Canada’s military is dependable and ready for real-world use.
Her commitment to service extends far beyond her role. Melony dedicates countless weekends each year to volunteer work through organizations such as the Legion, Lions Club, Rotary, and Homes for Heroes. Whether coordinating community events, raising funds, or supporting local initiatives, her focus remains on helping those who need it most.
“Helping people is part of who I am. That never stopped when I left the military.”
