Position Summary

ADGA is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to support an upcoming initiative focused on the development and delivery of a Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capability for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This role will support the development, execution and monitoring of project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables in accordance with project plans.   

Tasks include: 

  • Support the coordination of meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items.

  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, correspondence, and change logs. 

  • Make recommendations to improve project outcomes based on observations and project management best practices.

  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information flow. 

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and status reports.

  • Review and ensure project records are organized and stored according to departmental standards. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project or program management, preferably in defence, aerospace, or complex technology environments   

  • Proof of Undergraduate level university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. 

  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience (in the last 10 years) as a Project Manager/Leader managing projects with annual budgets over $1 million per year, including financial, scope, schedule, and risk management   

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience (in the last 10 years) for projects in excess of $1 million per year expenditure: 

    • In stakeholder engagement, communications, and preparing technical and management documentation   
    • Supporting stakeholder coordination and communications management in a project context. 
    • Preparing and presenting technical and management documents. 
    • Drafting correspondence and making recommendations on the acceptance or rejection of deliverables. 
    • Preparing Contract Deliverables Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) 
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills   

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment  

Additional Information

  • Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance.  

  • The posted salary reflects an employee compensation model; consultant rates will be adjusted accordingly. Consultants will be required to hold a Controlled Goods clearance and Insurance.   

  • Experience with DND on "Capital Equipment projects" and familiarity with DND processes would be as strong asset.
